Dear Investor,

La Trobe Foundation Scholarships

The La Trobe Foundation was established in 1978 as a major corporate initiative of the La Trobe Financial Services Group. It recognises the demands placed on both our borrowing and investing clients within the modern society in which we operate. Reaching out and positively influencing others is an essential element of our Foundation, and we have done so by supporting the following programs. Over the past number of years, the La Trobe Foundation has supported Very Special Kids, the Deafness Foundation of Australia, St Michael’s Basketball Club in the Latrobe Valley and the Traralgon Swimming Club.

The first part of our Community investment is an offering of a range of school Scholarships for both investor and borrower clients' children at various scholastic levels.

La Trobe has a long history of assisting Australians in realising their educational dreams; owning their own home; or obtaining financial independence. We are very proud of the La Trobe Foundation and of the assistance it has provided to the numerous children of borrowers and investors seeking excellence in education. You too can apply for a School Scholarship for the coming school year by completing the Application Form (see link below). Closing date for applications is December 22, 2009.

It is always pleasing to receive feedback from our clients and in particular when we have made a positive difference to someone’s life. We would like to share the following letter with you:

Customer Letter:

I would like to thank La Trobe Financial and its staff for your professional service. I have always found La Trobe to be very easy and friendly to deal with and always courteous and helpful. Having the opportunity to apply for some assistance with the cost of educating my daughter came as a very pleasant surprise and when I was notified that LaTrobe had accepted my application, I was so thrilled for her.

I have been a borrower of La Trobe’s for a number of years and recently have been through some tough times financially. This scholarship will go toward giving my daughter the education I have hoped for her.

There have been a few challenges that we have had to face, like most people experience from time to time in their lives. This assistance is very much appreciated and I am grateful to La Trobe for making it available to me as one of its borrowers.

I wish everyone at La Trobe a very fulfilling and successful year and I thank you for allowing my daughter the opportunity of applying for the School Scholarship.

Best regards,
Chris Andrews
